Totally incompetent

I have already been offered a deal for £26.99 broadband and phone which I have accepted and sent the contract. Engineer booked for next Wednesday. Just received an email from bt telling me my bb is due to expire soon and will be paying £29.99 but if I renew contract for 24 months, it will be  £39.99. Does this make sense, have not been able to access my online account as it is saying order is being processed, it has been like that since Friday. Makes me wonder whether the switch to digital voice next Wednesday will still go on.

So the notification that state s39.99 would be what would happen if you did nothing & is a standard end of contract notification. If you've got an order in place that will be a separate confirmation & is likely in place

Yes, seems a standard end of contract. Do not understand why £10 more expensive if I renew.
